Canberra Blind Society murchandise

CBS holds an annual seminar and hands on display of adaptive technology for people who are blind or have low vision. The display is held in July each year. Panel speakers are invited to speak each year on a range of issues affecting vision.

The display features the latest developments in equipment and technology designed for people who are blind or have low vision. Items on display range from aids for daily living and print magnification to sophisticated audio and brailing equipment and the latest in adaptive computer technology, software and viewing devices.

Exhibitors at Overview have included Quantum Technology, Humanware, Sight Management, Lions Visual Independence Foundation, Pacific Vision, Optek systems, Guide dogs NSW /ACT, Vision Australia, vision Impaired Sport ACT, Radio 1RPH as well as CBS.

Overview provides an opportunity for Canberrans to test drive the equipment before purchasing.
