Payment and Delivery

All purchases must be paid in full prior to delivery. We reserve the right to cancel any orders in the event that we suspect the payment is fraudulent. By purchasing from us you are entering into a contract and may not rescind payment via Credit Card charge backs in the event of late or damaged delivery. We make every effort to ensure all items are delivered to you quickly but we are not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or other couriers we may use. We make all efforts to ensure that goods are well packaged so they arrive without damaged, however replacement of an item lost or damaged in transit will be at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed. All delivery costs are included in the price as per the individual product details page.

Privacy Policy

Canberra Blind Society Inc. as a not for profit charity takes your privacy very seriously. All information collected through the Canberra Blind Society will be held in the strictest of confidence. We will not sell or release your personal information to any affiliate or third party unless required to do so by law. In the instance that you provide your credit card details in order to complete an online purchase, we will securely submit these details to the Commonwealth Bank to complete the transaction. Upon a successful processing, we will only store the credit card type and the last 3 digits of your credit card number so that you can identify the payments made in your order history. The full credit card number, expiry date and CVV are permanently deleted from our system.

Warranty Information

In accordance with both EEC and Australian Standards, Eschenbach optical and low vision aids all carry a 12 month warranty from date of purchase. All our products are warranted against mechanical and electrical defects for a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase. Faulty products should be returned to the place of purchase and proof of purchase must be presented. Please quote the model number in all correspondence. Returned products damaged by poor packaging are the responsibility of the sender. Eschenbach digital magnification devices carry a 24 month warranty from date of purchase. Daylight products carry a 24 month warranty from date of purchase. Eschenbach binocular warranty vary from 12 months to 10 years. Please check the individual information when ordering. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace the product free of charge provided the fault was not caused by misuse, improper handling, negligence, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or by any modifications made by the purchaser. The warranty does not cover consumables such as bulbs, tubes or batteries. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
